Lidl’s newest additions to its household essentials assortment help customers reduce plastic waste within a category that’s notorious for it. Sold under the name BioKing, Lidl’s four newest tableware products are a durable, leakproof and 100% biodegradable alternative to disposable tableware popular during summer hosting season. Made from plants, these BPA-free cups, plates, bowls, and utensils promise to bring both conversation and convenience to your next gathering.

Sustainable Chocolate
In August, three new sustainable chocolate confections will hit Lidl US shelves under Lidl’s award-winning ‘Preferred Selection’ brand – a line of authentic, specialty foods from around the world. Included among them are two premium Fairtrade Certified dark chocolate bars, available in a sophisticated 85% cocoa version, or a 56% cocoa variety, accented with sea salt. The new products are crowned with a selection of authentic Belgian chocolate crisps that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Certified by UTZ, these Belgian treats will be available in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, hazelnut and caramel flavors.

Certified Organic Pantry Items
With more than 140 organic items offered to shoppers at unbelievably low prices, Lidl makes it a point to make healthy, high quality foods more attainable to its communities.
